My message for students and staff is:

“Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.” – George Sheehan

Smt. Chandibai Himathmal Mansukhani College is a reality envisioned by its founding fathers. In 1965, the College was initially established with an objective of satisfying the educational needs of the migrant Sindhi community but now it caters to students of almost all religions, communities and socio-economic backgrounds. The college has more than 10,000 students and more than 400 teaching and non-teaching staff at Junior College (Aided and Self-Financing), Degree College (Aided and Self-Financing), Post-Graduate and Research centres. We are fortunate to have both junior and degree college under one roof.

We are an evolving Institution that believes in catering to the various emerging needs of the students. We have 27 courses at the Undergraduate level in Arts, Science and Commerce, 09 Post-Graduate Courses across three faculties and 08 Self Financing Courses, 07 Research Centres recognized by University of Mumbai and 42 teaching faculties with Ph.D. degree. We have UGC sponsored Gadhian Studies Centre and Women Studies Centre.

Our efforts are directed to create, year after year, avenues for developing all round personality of students to make them employable in the cutting edge competitive job environment. We are always committed to developing our infrastructure for the benefit of our students and staff. Our faculty believes in constantly updating their knowledge through UGC and UOM minor and major research projects. We have a vibrant socially committed outreach program also.
